I have a 225 HCCA amp I got new in 94. I havn't used it in years and I forgot how to wire it in 3 channel mode. I believe the sub is yellow\black- and orange+ is this right? What about the old woofer module, do I really need one? I will only use one 4ohm sub.

For Sub it is Yellow and Orange. Also according the the manuals the 1st gen amps will not bridge without the bridging module.

Original Gen 1 manual

Revised Gen 1

I know that there is an E-bay seller that makes the bridging mods.

Here

Hope that helps

The module i'm looking is a passive crossover. model# 4000-0008 CSX-TI4 XTR. It was also used to correct impedance. Without it, the amp may see too low an impedance and overheat.

my amp seems to be a gen 2.2 the online manual is almost the same as mine was. this manual shows a 3-way passive crossover "CSX-TMC" I dont remember this one. I just want to know if I really need any type of crossover for mixed mono, it seems to work fine without one. if I do need one where can I get it? any help would be great. thanks "2fnloud" for the links.
