Alternator up grade.

Im looking for some opions on what type of aftermarket alternator should i run with my set up. I dont have a big sound system just two orion hcca 250 g5 powered by a die hard platinum 930 cca. Also, i have a second battery for my basic car power needs its also a die hard platinum 740 cca. what should i do to keep the power continue steady. HELP!

when play at high volume my system keep coming off and on . i want to believe it`s the battery.
i have a
5 farad caps
875 amps battery
90 amps alt.
2 awg wire for power
12 awg for remote
1 hcca-d2400
1 pyramid 500w for mids and hi
two hp12-dvc 4 subs

225 HCCA wiring

I have a 225 HCCA amp I got new in 94. I havn't used it in years and I forgot how to wire it in 3 channel mode. I believe the sub is yellow\black- and orange+ is this right? What about the old woofer module, do I really need one? I will only use one 4ohm sub.

10.2 x2 with one amp but weird box..

Hey guys my friend has 2x 10.2 hcca subwoffer and its in a box which he brought from a guy from an audio shop but the guy has from what i can see wired up two of the + from the voicecoils and two of the - into 1 + and 1 - on both sides if he was to amp this on the amp it has 4 terminals right 2 postive and 2 negative

what ohm would this be at? would it be 1ohm bridged? and will this even work sure it wont do damage to the sub? in the booklet from what i see you have a bit of wire from the + to the + and that goes to one of the postive to the amp and obvs one to negative x2?

Wiring up two battreys?!

Hey again guys Right as you lot know i have myself a Classic mini 1979 and the battreys are pants on them

i know for a fact you can stick a pug 306 tdi battrey in them and they are good as they are heavy duty battreys (i have one in)

But I want more juice!!!!

ive had a quick google browse and i know its possibal to connect two battreys up with an isolator?!

will quite simply an isolator switch work? ie you have one battrey for your starter moter connected to isolator switch then you switch that over to your accessorys (seconed battrey)? and let the altonator charge it while the other one is in use? is that how it works im getting real confused about this?

i have a wiring digram but im confused about the isolator can a switch work or does it have to be a device?
